How it started…
Lindsey Brown began her career as a business manager in Los Angeles, where she worked for some of the largest business management firms in the industry. A decade of learning the ins and outs of managing cash flow, budgeting, accounting, and the investment challenges many high-net-worth individuals often face gave Lindsey a front-row seat to the pitfalls of subpar financial counseling. It became clear to Lindsey that many clients—who paid significant fees for access to skilled fiscal services at these firms—needed more than basic knowledge on sustaining long-term wealth; they needed actionable advice to avoid bankruptcy, tax debt, and other destabilizing life events.
Applying her extensive experience, Lindsey structured Longevity Financial’s philosophy to serve every client with the utmost attention, providing services that included everything from bank reconciliations, bill pay, and loan negotiation to tax disputes with IRS and franchise tax board, will and estate planning and moving and relocation to name a few.
Among many notable accomplishments, Lindsey and her team have advised professional athletes on properly establishing retirement income, thus avoiding the well-known statistic of being part of the 60 – 78 percent of retired professional athletes who face financial challenges after retirement.
Longevity Financial encourages its clients to be more involved in the day-to-day cash operations. Additionally, we supply each client with a monthly cash flow report. All your bank, investment statements, and credit card statements get emailed to you each month; our staff is available daily to communicate with clients and keep their affairs in order.
How it’s going…
As an Oregon native, Lindsey grew up spending lots of time outdoors, participating in sports, and working with her dad on building and fixing things around their home. Lindsey now relives those cherished memories in her spare time with her two girls, Nia and Kali, doing the things she loves. On any given weekend, you can find Lindsey crafting beautiful garden walls–a plaque dedicated to her father’s memory now hangs in her garden as a heartfelt tribute to the veteran and accomplished business owner, trailer traveling to camp on the beach, or embarking on epic road trips to meet up with relatives.
